Meet Dr. Michelle Rowles- Owner/ Director

I’m Dr. Michelle Rowles, a lifelong Kansas City resident, devoted educator, and childcare professional with over 25 years of hands-on experience. As owner of Just Like Family Child Care Home, LLC (two Raytown, MO locations), I’m passionate about nurturing children in safe, loving, and faith-driven environments.

Meet Ms. C- Infant/ Toddler Director

Hello Families, my name is Chephan, better known as Ms. C, and I am the Director of the Infant/Toddler Center. As the daughter of Ms. Michelle, the owner, I have grown up in childcare since the age of nine and have always had a passion for working with children through learning, creativity, and care. My educational background in Pre-Law reflects my lifelong desire to advocate for children and be a voice for those who may feel unheard—a mission I continue through my work today. Becoming both a godmother and a mother further strengthened my dedication to this field, and I am honored to lead, protect, and support the children and families we serve each day.

Meet Mrs. Tiara- Assistant Director

I’m Tiara, Assistant Director at Just Like Family Childcare. With 7+ years of childcare experience and a CDA, I’m passionate about supporting children, families, and staff. I’m also a proud mom of four and an animal lover. My favorite colors are Royal Blue and Hot Pink, and I never pass up seafood or Chipotle! I’m grateful to be part of this community and excited to help your children grow and thrive. 💙💗

Meet Mr. Marland- 2-Year-Olds Teacher

My name is Mr. Marland, and I am the teacher in the 2-year-old classroom. I am caring, compassionate, and dedicated to creating a safe and nurturing environment where children feel comfortable, supported, and ready to learn. Although I am fairly new to the childcare field, I am excited to grow in this role and work closely with families to support each child’s development. My goal is to provide gentle structure and guidance while helping children build confidence and develop important early skills.

Meet Ms. D- Lead Infant/ Toddler Teacher

My name is Denetria, and I am also known as Ms. D. I am the Lead Teacher at the Infant Center. I have a genuine passion for working with children and take pride in creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where they can learn and grow.
