I/T Provider
Ms. Chephan is the licensed Provider for the Willow location, serving infants and toddlers ranging from ages 6 weeks to two years of age. Ms. C was raised in childcare as her mom opened her first in home childcare when she was 9. After graduating high school in 2008 Chephan went to college to study Pre-Law. In 2012 she became pregnant with her first child, and she came back home to Raytown childcare and has stayed ever since. She is the mother of two beautiful daughters, having her second child in 2015.

Ms. Michelle Rowles is the Preschool/School Aged Director. She is a mother of four adult children and grandmother to six beautiful granddaughters. Ms. Michelle has been working in the preschool daycare industry for the past twenty-three years and has an A.A.S. in Early Childhood Education, B.A. in Elementary Education and working towards her Masters in Christian Counseling. Also offer before school care after school child care Raytown.

Enrollment
For your child’s safety, and to comply with the State regulations, all enrollment papers must be completed and on file before your child attends. These include: enrollment application, parent agreement, medical forms and shot records.
Registration
To reserve a place for your child, we ask for the following fee to be paid in cash at contract signing. A registration fee of $30.00 per family this fee is non-refundable.
Tuition is due the Friday before the week of service. We ONLY accept payment through Brightwheel. A late fee of $10 per day is due with payment before the child can attend. Weekly fees cover up to 50 hours, three or more days are considered a week, daily fees cover up to 10 hours. There will an annual cost of living rate increase each year in January but rates may change during the year based on the needs of the business. If you pay money to hold a spot at our facility and you change your mind on attending no refund will be granted.

Parents who pick up their children after their agreed pick-up time will be charged a late pick-up fee of $25.00 for the first minute and $1 per minute starting at 5minutes, until picked-up. This fee is to cover the expense of additional overtime paid to the staff. Legal authorities may be contacted for children left at the facility for more than 30 minutes after agreed pick-up time with no communication from the family.
To maintain proper staffing for our facility, we require payment for care even if your child is ill, on spring break, vacation or for any reason and cannot attend. We will allow a one-week unpaid vacation if scheduled one month in advance. If you need to withdraw your child, we require at least two weeks’ advance notice. We also reserve the right to terminate care immediately if a situation is deemed by us to be unsafe for children, parents, and/or our staff. In any other situation, such as but not limited to non-payment, excessive biting, lack of parent involvement, child, or children unable to adjust to childcare schedule and procedures, we reserve the right to terminate the care with two weeks’ notice. All children attending need to be dropped off by 9:15am to participate in classroom learning experiences. If a school-aged child is suspended from school, they cannot attend our facility during their suspension.
Your child’s health is important to us. If your child becomes ill while at JLFCCH, you will be notified to pick him or her up immediately. In such an event, your child will be isolated from the other children until you arrive, and you must make arrangements to pick up your sick child within one hour of notification.
If you know your child is ill, please refrain from bringing him or her to the facility to keep other children/staff from being exposed. DO NOT GIVE YOUR CHILD FEVER REDUCING MEDICINE WITHIN 24 HOURS BEFORE ATTENDING CHILDCARE.
Keep your child home if he or she:
· Cannot participate comfortably in our activities.
· Needs greater care than our staff can provide without compromising the health and safety of the other children.
· An auxiliary (armpit) temperature of 99 degrees or higher.
· Unusual lethargy, uncontrolled coughing, irritability, persistent crying, difficult breathing, wheezing, uncontrolled diarrhea, vomiting, mouth sore, rash, conjunctivitis (pink eye), or other unusual signs.
· Symptoms of communicable disease
· COVID Guidelines: If a household member or the attending child has COVID they must be excused from childcare for one full week after symptoms and fever have ended.
· Hand, Foot, and Mouth (HFN) Guidelines: If a child has been diagnosed with HFN they must be excused from childcare for one full week after all sores are covered and fever has ended.
Please notify Ms. Michelle Rowles or Ms. Chephan Collins at once if your child has contracted a communicable disease. To maintain proper staffing, we require payment for care even if your child is ill and cannot attend.
